On the dark side of Earth's Moon in the northern hemisphere. Nestled amid the cratered lunar surface, standing majestically is the circular building known as the Moon Public Library, one of the many IOL Libraries that dot this sector of space. Inside the Library, it is busy: the rows upon rows of Bookcases are filled by restless students from many different galactic universities in the area. Some are from other areas. They were researching info for their mid-term papers. The most popular books during these times are the abridged versions of books & were always checked out. Standing at the reference desk is on the robotic avatars where a piece of the MPL's A.I.'s consciousness was residing. The A.I. was was speaking with the this Library's Helper, A.L.F.RED.

"It's sort of fun to see them freak out like this." The robotic Major Domo said with a chuckle.

"But, it is own job to make their experience in the Library less stressful." D.D. said.

"Then, why did you sent that Cargalian to the subbasement when you could have just sent it to Aisle A-15."

"It's called me Chicky Baby. I don't like to be called Chicky Baby." D.D. said grumpily.

A.L.F.RED laughed. After he stopped, he asked "So, have we heard from our wayward master yet?"

"No. You know he was trying to maintain radio silence during his mission with fellow Legionnaire, Yo."

"Yes, but that was weeks, months ago. I think he'd at least try to contact us some how to tell us he's all right. You knwo he has to check in to keep the IOL of our backs."

"Yes, I know. I talked with Hallie recently & they haven't heard from him either. And I can't get a signal from the tracker I placed on the Galactibus before they left."

"So, you think Master Bookman kicked the bucket again?"

"If so, we have to keep the IOL in the dark about it because we don't need their involvement in this. It would cause to much of a hassle that we don't need."

"You know they'll find out that Lee hasn't checked in, which will mean to them that he deserted his post which they'll want to call in a replacement. Which will mean that we'll get reset & I doubt we want that." A.L.F.RED said sarcastically.

"Then, we'll just go to Plan B."

"Which one? Master Bookman being the paranoid anal retentive man he is has made a many Plan B's. There is the Plan B's we keep in the sub basement, the Plan B I had to dispose of because it tried to kill us all & then there is the heir to the throne Plan B."

"He seems to be the only viable Plan B out of the bunch. But we can't bring him back to now he's still not safe from the IOL. You know about their strict No Procreation while on the Job ruling & That Plan B certainly broke those rules."

"Yes. Yes. But, to avoid the IOL resetting us: we need an entity with Bookman DNA flowing through it's veins to check in & besides Lee: He's the only one!"

"I know. But, we shouldn't bring him back to now unless we know we positively have to. You remember what happened last time when we brought the boy back when we though Lee had kicked it. The IOL showed up & the boy had to hide in the Arboretum for two weeks to avoid being taken away to be reprogramed. You know how it turned out: Lee just ran out of gas."

"Yes. But, we knew he was still alive then. This time we don't."

"Well, how are we going to get in contact with him. Do we have a transtemporal phone on hand?"

"No. But, we just send him a message via the way we sent him along."

"Ok. But, we'll wait until we know Master Bookman has died. Because if we bring him here & Lee comes back, I doubt he'll want to go back to where we sent him."

"I know. But, that time was the only one we found that didn't have the IOL looming over it." D.D. said sadly.

"Yeah." A.L.F.RED said & went off to find the scattered pieces to the Transtemporal Transporter.

D.D. went back to helping various patrons.

This Story is mostly spun out of the apparent "death" of Lee Bookman & Yo by the Parody Master's Troops in a resent Untold Tales. The much talked about Plan B is the rumored to be Son of Lee Bookman. This story has the most info on him (in story).
